Savin Hill is one of those neighborhoods that we’d heard of but never explored, so
here’s our opportunity. The Red Line stops in Savin Hill next after the JFK/UMass
station. We’ll strike out from there to check out Savin Hill. There are a couple of modest
hills on this one; distance overall is approximately 1.5 miles. Lunch will be at a popular
neighborhood restaurant near the T station.

The walk is free, but registration is very highly recommended for BHV members and their guests for your name to be on the notification list in case of a weather cancellation. You will receive the complete meet-up details when you register. BHV members can register a guest themselves or contact the BHV Office to register their guest, guests must be registered by a BHV member.
 
Please note: Strolls move at an easy pace for about one hour, including rest stops. Walks strive to move at a steady pace for about 1 1/2 hrs. Each is led by 2 BHV members; each offers the opportunity to stay for a group lunch afterwards; each is oriented around access by subway, and each requires registration for both members and their guests.
