Dr. Christine Ritchie kicked off our 25th anniversary speaker series in early June, presenting on how to purposefully age by creating habits of activity, habits of connection, and habits of curiosity and learning. She connected these ideas to well-being in later life.

Join Boston College design professor Sunand Bhattacharya for an engaging talk exploring how human-centered and inclusive design can help create longer, better lives for individuals, families, caregivers, and communities. Pattie Maes is the Germeshausen Professor of Media Arts and Sciences at the MIT Media Lab where she does research at the intersection of Human Computer Interaction and Artificial Intelligence. Maes pioneered the concept of Software Agents in the 90s and remains focused on the question of how computer systems and digital devices might augment people and assist them with issues such as memory, learning, decision making, health and wellbeing.
