Sunand Bhattacharya is a learning architect, industrial designer, and educator who serves as Associate Vice Provost for Design and Innovation Strategies at Boston College and Professor of the Practice in the School of Social Work. He advances design as connective tissue—bringing together people, disciplines, and ideas to catalyze a culture of ethical design and innovation. Bhattacharya also spearheaded the vision and development of Boston College’s human-centered engineering program, leading the cross-disciplinary team that brought it to launch in 2021.
